Company History

Director Thomas Jamieson founded Jamieson & Associates Ltd in 1988 and has recently been joined by Paul Newton.

Thomas Jamieson - Director / General Manager
With 40 years experience in construction. First with a PQS firm in London, England for 7 years and then in excess of 30 years with contractors in Asia before establishing JAL.

Paul Newton - Director
With 20 Years experience in Quantity Surveying for both contractors and consultants including 13 years spent overseas in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Caribbean, Australia, Dubai and Mexico.

Particular skills are MEP, Claims, Contract Preparation and Administration, FIDIC and World Bank / JBIC funded projects.

Philip C.L. Keep - Associate
Philip joined JAL in Hong Kong in 2009. Prior to this, was responsible for Claims and Dispute Resolution for a Major Middle Eastern Consultancy, during which he prepared and negotiated claims on several major infrastructure projects. He has held senior contractual/commercial positions for international contractors in the Middle East and Asia.

Philip is experienced in all aspects of building, civil, heavy engineering projects based on client's design and design and build contracts for both private and public sector projects. Philip's experience also includes working for contractors in the power industry in Coal, gas, oil, asphalt and waste burning Power Stations.
